Calling Back Home or to a Singapore Number?

Making a phone call to a Singapore number is typically simple enough. All Singapore numbers are 8 digits long, be it a fixed line number or mobile(handphone). You have to make sure that you dial +65 first, followed by the 8 digit number you are trying to reach e.g. +6564344344 (fixed), or +6598121212.

Dialing back home needs the format to be in the form of +. Example if you are from UK, you should dial a number let's say +44, followed by the area code for London 20, and the phone number. It should probably look like +4420XXXXXXXXX. There's quite a common mistake made where people tend to put a 0 between 44 and 20, a result of their home dialing format.
